“Horrendous agency”

I used the Newcastle-under-Lyme branch in Staffordshire.
Worst estate agent I have ever dealt with. Staff sound very polite on the phone but that's as far as any form of professionalism goes. They lack any form of communication, I tried for the best part of a week to secure a viewing on a property let through them, sometimes having to ring twice a day. Messages were not passed on, I was not called back when promised, just a huge lack of any sort of communication. Eventually after a lot of effort on my part I managed to make an appointment to view said property, I was given a time only to be text a different time later on the same day. The following day I was informed by voicemail that in fact the property had been the subject of an application by someone who had not actually viewed it. This is a massively unjust system to operate and no other agent I have ever dealt with works in this way.
Having read some other reviews on this Estate agent I now see that I am merely a drop in the ocean regarding negative feedback on Bridgfords.
I would definitely NOT recommend them to anyone, be you a prospective tenant or landlord, buyer or seller.
Not even worthy of the one star I gave them, there was no option for zero!
