Mattressworld are an awful company. I ordered a mattress but it's a shame I can't even review the product. During the checkout process, I thought it was great I could select a named delivery date. I selected Thursday 4th August, I waited in all day (delivery times are between 0700-1900 but I didn't leave the house at all just in case). I had two other deliveries that day from two separate companies, both of which arrived. I hadn't heard anything by 1700 so sent an email to ask where my mattress is. You cannot call the company, only email. By 1900, nothing, so I sent 3 more emails over the next hour asking for my money back. No reply. Just to cover myself, I called my credit card provider to let them know I need to raise a dispute.
The next day (Friday) I got a reply. This said they would be in touch with the delivery company to let me know what's happening and we will arange redelivery - this was at 1330. I then got a text message saying my delivery will arrive today! This was no good as I work full time and took Thursday off especially. I went back through my email for the tenth time to check, and yep, it was still have meant to have arrived Thursday. Unless the delivery was going back in time, I wouldn't be in on Friday. I got home from work and there was no 'sorry we missed you card', so once again they lied. I sent another email asking them how long it takes to get a simple delivery status, as of course they hadn't got in touch, I asked for my money AGAIN and pointed out they were in breach of contract. Next day I received an email saying the money will be in my account in 7 days, so we'll see if it is... at least I have the protection of my credit card provider and I have a feeling this may be why they are agreeing to return my money.
Overall, awful company who don't deliver. Don't use unless you want to waste any entire day for a whole lot of hassle!
