I was with EON for over a year, I started off paying £23 a month for electricity only, then increased to £126 a month (for a 2 bedroom new built flat that I only use 4 days a week). Few months after EON increased my monthly payment I decided to switch company and after a careful calculation of my meter readings and my electricity usage I was due a refund.
Did I mention a refund? ( wait for it )....after few phone calls to EON non-existent customer services, I was told to wait for my final bill. When my final bill was delivered it showed an outstanding figure of over £500. Its only after few complaints that they decided to investigate the matter and come back with a figure of £202 which is still not the correct one. Now they`re threatening me with legal action and silly warning letter.
EON is far worst than any rogue company out there, they are a TRUE LESSON of “Banging Your Head Against a Brick Wall” expression. I had to deal with their non-sense whilst working abroad for 3 months and hardly had any access to the phone or the internet.
My Final Statement : EON IS TO BE AVOIDED LIKE A PLAGUE
