This is not a genuine VAT registered company. They sent me a VAT invoice saying that "this SHOWS the VAT amount" however "please note we're unable to provide a full VAT invoice, as we're not a VAT registered company."

They say on their website "prices include VAT". Apparently it doesn't.

I've uploaded my invoice to flickr. Please search for 'panamoz' or 'panamozgate' (people).

This invoice is useless for me as a business to reclaim the VAT. I told them that I'm not prepared to spend 20% more than expected (because I won't be able to get the fake VAT back) and within an hour they refunded 20% of the purchase price. Feeling guilty?

The package arrived from Hong Kong (it's NOT a UK business) and they even cheated on the customs form (saying 'photography parts' worth £50 instead of a £1k+ lens).

 By sending out VAT invoices they are able to offer their goods 20% cheaper than the genuine suppliers within the UK.

I reported them to HMRC who are on the case now.
Expect this business to shut down soon.

Alternatively take the risk and ask them to refund 20% of the purchase price later as their VAT is no VAT without VAT registration. If you like to play consider this review a 20% discount code.
