“Excellent product, excellent service ”

I'm new to car detailing having previously treat my cars to the occasional wash with whatever was on offer at the time. New car, new regime - enter the world of washing, claying, polishing and waxing! As a total newbie I've been building up my collection over the last 6 months and kept coming across dual action polishers as the way forwards. My current car isn't brand new and the previous owners have left a fair few scratches which I've been unable to fix until now! Took the plunge and ordered a DAS6 polisher, menzerna kit. Firstly the delivery was really quick (standard, free). The instructions are a bit wooly so take your time to read them, although the machine is fairly self explanatory with speed dial and on/off switch ergonomically sited. The kit comes with a few pads and compounds ranging from heavy cutting to polishing - everything you need to get started... Except knowledge of what to do in my case; I contacted cleanmycar and within a day received a comprehensive and very helpful explanation as to how the different pads and compounds could be used - really good service! I've just cleaned, clayed, polished and waxed the car, using the polisher for the first time. As with other reviews, why didn't I get one of these years ago??! Simply brilliant :-) very easy to use, the pads change easily but are firmly attached to the plate otherwise. I've taken out all swirls and scratches that previously would not improve despite a great deal of elbow grease. I did need an extension cable to plug into as the lead whilst a reasonable length, was never going to reach the socket in the garage otherwise. So, in summary - this kit is good value for money as you start with everything you need in one box. The machine is easy to hold and manoeuvre and made light work of sorting out my paintwork. And... Mine came with its own bag. Last, but by no means least, the customer service has been excellent; from a very prompt delivery to a very prompt reply to a question. Would definitely recommend this kit and this company.
