Good Points
Great sound for price. Looks smart.

Bad Points
Lack of good CDR support.

General Comments
Had my Cambridge Audio CD5 for a good 5 years now. Been absolutely superb. The sound is excellent and it looks very smart - no fussy buttons. Mine is now coupled with an S700 Isomagic DAC. Also Cambridge Audio. Together they sound amazing. More like £500 - £600 than the £180 total! Better than a Marantz CD6000 KI signiture! I use it in a mid-priced setup and it performs brilliantly. Highly recommended if you can put up with tempramental CDR playback.
