We checked out from our room at the hotel in good time prior to the agreed pick up time and waited for the driver to turn up. After 20 minutes of waiting, past the agreed pick up time, we enlisted the assistance of the hotel staff to check the whereabouts of the driver, to no avail. At the same time my wife rang the customer services number and was number seven in the queue and waited patiently for her call to be taken. When she finally got through she was cut off by your operator/staff.
At that stage we had no alternative but to ask the hotel staff to provide a taxi for us in order to get to the airport in time for check-in. When we were in the taxi to the airport, we received a telephone call that I was not able to answer in time so it went straight to voicemail. I rang straight back (the first of three times) and got voicemail every time so I was not able to speak with your staff. You failed to provide the agreed service delivery and time was 'of the essence.
Incidentally, the driver who picked us up on arrival at Budapest airport was at best "unsafe". Bearing in mind we had a three year old child with us his driving skills were eractic with constant texting and turning around to talk to us whilst driving at high speed.
