“Villa Altis Park, Montechoro, Algarve dirty and noisy !”

From the lovely photo's on the web we thought we were in for a fabulous family break. Turns out we couldn't speak across the pool or Villa to Villa as we had the noisiest road running behind. The detached villa had an empty house, very run down, next to us and it was so bad the children were afraid to go back to the villa when we were at the pool during evening hours. The pool was lovely but the surrounding area was pure white walls and a white tin top on the wall for privacy but we felt like we were in a compound. Maybe when renovations around the villas are completed it will be nicer but for now, I would not recommend this holiday destination.
