Selling broadband must be difficult because broadband is a function - there's not much to get excited about. As a website, Origin Broadband's does what is needed and tells people what is on offer. Does the site enthuse me? Not really. Does it tell me what I will get from Origin and how much it will cost? Yes.
What the Origin website does not tell you is how satisfied customers will be the service. I changed to Origin earlier this year and have got what the website said. The bonus was the good support and customer service staff. The changeover was very efficiently dealt with. I now have problems with my connection - nothing to do with Origin - but the customer services and technical people are on the ball, very helpful and supportive, sharing my frustration with BT!
Would I recommend the Origin website? Yes, because it is a portal to a good internet and phone provider. Since I changed to Origin earlier in the year, I have not visited the website until now (I was invited to review it) because it has not been necessary. Have I been satisfied with Origin - yes, quite emphatically. They provide the best service they can with the BT infrastructure - the latter being beyond their control - and I am one happy customer.
