“Not bad but could be a lot better”

I recorded no confirmation that my order had been accepted or an email to say how much I was paying and what I was receiving. I then emailed them and they confirmed that my order was accepted and was due to be dispatched, but I still had no official confirmation. The delivery was speedy after this and parcelforce delivered well. The bike was packaged nicely. However, it was in worse condition than indicated by the description, with some bits quite dirty, obviously had been used as a demo too not just on display(which was what had been indicated).

This I could deal with, since I was getting a reduction in the price. However, I now need to spend time or pay somebody to tune my front derailleur, since there is significant grinding in the highest gear, not what I expected at all. Not worth dismantling the bike and sending it back over, but definitely poor service, especially when this bike has been used as a demo, so I would expect everything to be mechanically sound.
