“What customer service?”

We bought a brand new Bellway home and as you would expect we looked forward to moving in. The Bellway staff were all smiles & treated us like we were old friends. Once we moved in the site manager "popped round' to see that everything was okay and he just had a few buts of paper that needed signing off. "don't worry about this & that" we were assured, " ill get that sorted out this week". DON'T sign anything unless you wish to close the matter. We have spent more than a year battling to have basic things put right and we are now being told that they will not put right other stuff.
We paid £1000 to have the garden done. This included levelling, rotorvating & turfing. All they did was throw the grass down. It's like a swamp when it rains. I complained after a week of moving in. Beltway couldn't care less. The kept fobbing us off with lame excuses for a year but said they would do the work that i paid for. Now they don't want to know so i am going to court.
If your buying a Bellway house; whatever you do don't trust anything they tell you. Make sure you are 100% satisfied before you sign anything off, because customer services will not help you at all. You have been warned. good luck.
