“value for money and no unexpected surprises ”

It was not the first time that I rented a car via RentalCars.com and it will certainly be not the last time.
My experience is that they work with reliable companies (like Maggiore in Italy). Online booking is easy, paper work at the site goes fast and I think the price / quality ratio is reasonable. It is remarkable however that in Mediterranean countries the staff of car letting-offices always try to sell all kinds of additional insurance products, whereas this way of acting is unnecessary and irritating. The day I dropped off the car I had not filled up the fuel (there is no fuel station at Palermo International Airport). Notwithstanding dropping off the car at Maggiore took five minutes only; they fill up the car for you and your creditcard will be debited. So they are customer oriented.
