“Mixed review of Flooring Supplies”

Ordered the Quickstep flooring products online as they were a good price, and was then rung to say they wouldn't be in stock for a week. Managed with this but made it clear I needed to receive all items as I had a joiner booked. Sales staff good.

Good tracking info, etc.

Items arrived and 2 damaged boxes, obviously a concern as I needed all for joiner. Rang and was told by sales, again very nice, what to do which I did. Simple process.

All fell part for me dealing with customer services when the email said:
Dear 

""Thank you for the email, we are sorry to see the goods have turned up this way, please see the below email, this is a template on how to use damaged goods, which i believe from the amount you have is achievable.

If this is something you are happy to try and if you fall short, we will replace these packs if required then, or if you want this replaced straight away, please advise ?""

I was flabbergasted that it appeared I was being asked to use the good delivered if possible so I wouldn't need any more and was even given a template to do so. There was no mention of reducing the price for keeping damaged goods etc so obviously I was extremely upset at the thought of paying for damaged goods just in case.

I rang and spoke to a man who seemed annoyed at my misunderstanding of their 'generic email' and appeared to suggest I should have expected more information on ringing with my decision, at which point a discount would have been offered. He didn't seem to understand my surprise at being asked to use damaged goods as he seemed to think all would be ok! I found this 'gentleman' belligerent and arrogant.

I would not recommend based on the follow up service of this person which is a shame as the sales and delivery team were very good.
