“Transformed my conservatory into an extension of the...”

Had to undergo quite a traumatic conservatory refurbishment recently - during the very wet month of June. Having previously had Hillary's vertical blinds fitted, I decided to use this company again...I had been advised by the conservatory fitters that blinds had 'come on' somewhat during the last few years and that the new 'perfect fit' ranges would be ideal, fitting into the frames without drilling.. and giving so much flexibility too... appearing to almost disappear into the frames when pushed up to the top - ideal pulled partway down adding style and colour - or the whole way to either deflect the sun or offer privacy at night time.

Being South facing we get the sun all day in summer, and my previous cream vertical blinds (without any solar deflection, had gradually become to look more of a dirty white. This time I decided to choose a light terracotta color - coordinating with my Spanish washed out terracotta floor tiles. I also chose blinds with a solar deflective backing, and was delighted to discover that this particular range also qualified for a discount... finally influencing my decision.
The Salesman was relaxed, helpful and friendly. It was obvious that he took a pride in his job, showing a genuine interest in helping me choose - and reassuring with his advice, but without the slightest hint of any pressure. He had a couple of small 'hiccups' in the tension of a couple of the top window fittings after the initial fitting, which was, however, soon very easily remedied by advice the Hillary's technical team.

The result is that I now have what looks like a completely stunning
new conservatory, but the blinds, as the finishing touch, make it appear to be an extension to my through lounge. The overall look has been totally changed by the correct choice of blinds. The color tones not only add an ambient glow on a dull day, but also allowing the sunshine to filter through, when it is bright. whilst also having the flexibility and ease of use being fully adjustable, by a flick of the hand. Solar backing helps retain an comfortable temperature, and will obviously stop the colour fading. The result is that the blinds just seem to give the whole room a more coordinated look, toning completely with adjoining parts of the house, furnishings and even some of the garden fixtures...everyone has admired the transformation.
