“A supported journey”

Have a good job, bonuses, regular wage rises, share saves and cheap loans, happy days we lived to our means, then we got taken over by an American company and all of the above stopped, stupidly we buried our heads in the sand and didn't notice how much debt we were starting to get ourselves into. When the default notices started coming in it all hit me that I could lose my house, in fact everything we had built, I admit for someone usually in full control I totally lost it, to cut a long story short I discovered Step change. Wow, straight away they lifted a load off me, I was still getting letters but I had someone to talk to, slowly the letters stopped, I learnt to live to a budget (tough at times) and now 8 years later I am finally debt free, I have also learnt the TRUE value of money, I really can't thank everyone enough, I called the help line as I couldn't believe I had done it, the lady heartily congratulated me, I'm ashamed to say I started to cry, years of emotion eps and gratitude overcame me, my message is CALL THEM I wish I had earlier and not npbeener an Osterich! Thanks isn't enough
