“Dreadful Customer Service”

written by Molloy457 on 28/06/2016

I used Ipost originally to send things in the UK with no problems. On the 3rd occasion I used them to send an item to Italy. This is where it all went badly wrong. The delivery time was supposed to be 3-4 days , however it took two weeks and the customer service was appalling.

I was advised by the courier service they use that the package had been sent to the wrong depot by mistake, so one week later my parcel was still in the UK. There is no way to phone ipost and no email address. The website is not user friendly and the forms on there are awkward to use. If they email you, you are unable to respond and then have to go back to using the useless forms. Although they advertise an online chat service between certain hours it's never actually available.

This leaves their Facebook page which is full of dissatisfied customers with no way to contact anyone. The response on messenger are poor to say the least.

I was left out of pocket after having to refund the buyer for the item as they had needed the item for their daughters Holy Communion. Ipost were unhelpful, unsympathetic, difficult to contact and refused to issue a refund.

I would strongly warn against this company as if something goes wrong, you have no recourse and they are not interested in helping you or refunding you. I will never use them again, it's not worth the risk when there are other cheaper and more efficient courier companies out there. I'm in the process of setting up a Facebook page and contacting trading standards as their trading practices leave a lot to be desired.
