I did our holiday booking over the phone, after seeing a Fleetway Travel holiday offer for Spain online. Both the people I spoke to at different times at Fleetway Travel were courteous and efficient, and all the relevant documents arrived safely by email. Fleetway also sent us email reminders when online check-in was due, and sent us warnings about possible travel disruption on the way to the airport. The holiday itself was very good value for money and my husband and I were very satisfied.
My main criticism of our experience would be that we were told a free hire car was included in the package. It was, but because my husband is 70 we were forced by the car hire company to buy extra insurance to cover the possible excess in the case of damage to the car. We were also forced by the hire company to pay an admin fee. These two sums, particularly the extra insurance, meant considerable extra expense over which we had no control. We think that Fleetway should have warned us about the compulsory extra car insurance for over 70s before we paid for our holiday. Instead we only found out after we had paid in full for our holiday.
Having said that, we enjoyed our holiday, would use Fleetway again, and would recommend it to others.
