I have had large set of 8 pieces of Scanpan classic cookware for a while ... about ten years. I have not treated them with any special care as they came with a stainless steel scourer and I am sensible enough not to use very high heat or leave them unwashed for any period of time. Nevertheless the ones I use most regularly have pitted terribly. Bases are all still very even and flat so I ignore the aesthetics and continue to use them but I would not recommend them and would never buy another one. There are too many other brands available which perform equally as well and remain in good condition. Big thumbs down from me.
