“Instructor Left ”

I started with Red in September 2015 after moving to University. It started off well. I was progressing and my Instructor was available through the the week including weekends. However they worked a part time Job also so could only work in the afternoons (excluding weekends). After the Easter holidays they told me they could only work on Sunday's due to their family member who babysits the children whilst at work had gone away for 6 weeks. Although this was an inconvenience I persevered. I had booked my test on their advice for the 3rd June. I was then told that I couldn't do this as they wouldn't be able to get the time off from their other work. I changed it to the 30th June to suit their needs. Around 4 weeks before my test date they then told me that I was not test ready having previously gave me no indication of this. I was left with a deadline (set by them) until 19th June to prove that I was. They then went on a holiday weekend commencing 10th June, which meant I could not have my lesson on Sunday 12th. On the 15th June I received a phone call from Red to tell me they had left the company and that I no longer had a driving instructor. I asked if there was anybody else available to take me on as my test was 2 weeks later and they said they had nobody else in my area. I feel like I have just wasted just over £1000 in driving lessons with this company, and as a student money is tight at the best of times. They were not helpful at all when I told them of the situation my driving instructor had now put me in. I am one very frustrated customer and will not be recommending them to anybody in the near future.
