I was concerned that the provider for the Home Insurance was changed and wanted clarification about certain aspects of the new Policy, because even after reading the Terms and Conditions on line was not convinced my needs were being met. During my call the responder dealt with my queries with efficiency although I was not totally convinced knew the Policy well. My issues were regarding water pipe blockages from the mains, which is outside our boundary to the house and also regarding damage caused by trees. We have two mature pines with Conservation and Preservation Orders on our property. I was glad I checked because these had not been included last year. Thank God we didn't have any incident. They are now covered. Time will, of course, tell if we are adequately covered when we come to make a claim.
