Travelled to Woolacombe on the 13/6/16.We were picked up at Caerphilly at 7:50. We were 3hours travelling and were only in Newport. We arrived at our hote at 3 pm.A member of the hotel staff told us the lift was out of order and we should have been informed.but we're not.I was travelling with a lady with learning diffuclties and balance problems,I asked for a ground floor room but was refused. We had a third floor room and she struggled every day with the amount of stairs she had to climb. There was also a lot of elderly people struggling with stairs .
When I booked the hotel I was told the hotel was on the seafront,it was at the top of a very steep hill. Also the photograph in the brochure was a different hotel to the one we stayed in.
The hotel was in need of a refurb.
We went to use the swimming pool. The steps into the pool was really unsafe and moving all over the place,so didn't use the pool.
Don't use this hotel if you have mobility problems.
