“Incompetent Customer Service/Distribution Staff”

We ordered a furniture set in April for the dining and living room. As we had work still being done at home, Leekes let us keep the furniture in the warehouse for a short period of time once the stock became available (kind gesture). However, when the products were delivered, there were surface scratches on the dining table top and a broken corner on the sofa table top. Appalled with the condition that is meant to be 'new', we sent pictures to the customer service team requiring an exchange on the damaged products. The customer service team would not have even contacted me about receiving the e-mail/that the request is under process had I not called up and asked.

Once they confirmed the exchange, the items were delivered the following week. The dining table top was fine but instead of bringing a new sofa table, Leekes sent us a tv table. Even though the email requesting the exchange explicitly stated the name of the item AND the item number. Really unhappy with the quality of service and products my family received from Leekes.

To top it off, in the furniture set was an Ending Table (which wasn't delivered). When I phoned up asking whether the email requesting the exchange has been received, I also asked why the Ending Table wasn't in the delivery. I was told that the Ending Table will not be in stock until August!! Definitely would have appreciated being told this on ordering the item or the moment they found out they will not be able to deliver until then.
