“Recommended with a slight caveat”

The bed is terrific, the mattress better. Great service and great value. However, the problem lies with the slats, the easiest thing to remedy but the thing that causes the most damage. We are currently on our second mattress in a fortnight (thanks for delivery who were superb today!) The reason we're on our second mattress is that upon turning it over, there were so many splinters on the unfinished slats, that it ripped the mattress. We called Warren Evans and after sending pictures of the damage, they replaced it without argument. However, when they brought the replacement slats, there wasn't a great deal of difference and they ended up sanding some of the worst culprits to prevent a repeat performance. Warren Evans are and their staff are terrific but I would advise them to sort out the problems with the slats as this will happen again.
