£213 transitional glasses broke after only 6 weeks and the lens was lost. Oxford Street optician assistant was unhelpful, lacked customer service, gave incorrect information and tried to blame me for problem when the glasses were obviously faulty. Implied that because I did not have a case it was no wonder the glasses broke. But I did have a case and even after I showed him my case I used he did not seem to believe me. Manager refused to see me "too busy" although a quiet Sunday. Very difficult confrontational meeting. Do not trust that the quality of the glasses or the customer service. I will NEVER use Boots Opticians again and certainly will not recommend them to anyone.
