“Avoid the Arndale Store in Manchester ”

I visited the Watch Lab store in the Arndale Centre Manchester to have a link removed from my swiss watch.
The assistan quoted me £39.99 to remove one link from my watch.
I thought it was rather excessive and felt because I owned a watch that cost over £5000 this did not constitute such a charge. The assistant started waffling on about cleaning the watch and cleaning the bracelet ect ect
I had not requested this service and felt he was just trying to up sale me to more services that I did not require.
I believe the service was terrible and reprehensible and cancelled immediately and returned the receipt. I was very very dissapointed and made my way to another watch repairs in the Arndale who charged me a mere £.7.95 to remove one link.
A much more pleasant experience.
Please avoid this place if possible
