I booked a family holiday to Dubai in August last year. The night before we left there was a party in the penthouse above our room from 11.45pm to 6.45am. The manager agreed to a refund of one nights stay which was fine. The issue was with southall travel who have till date not processed the refund, I have been chasing for months and subsequently raised a complaint via ABTA requesting the refund as well as interest and compensation (time spent on phone calls and emails etc.).
the person I dealt with who deals with my complaint does not take phone call and only deals with email which incidentally take a week to reply back to. Even after leaving numerous messages for call backs nothing has happened.
I used to book regularly with them for myself and my parents. It has now been 9 months since this issue has been going on and no one wants to help to resolve. Even emailing the CEO has no effect.
I would never use them ever and would not advise anyone to book anything with them unless you want the worst service you have ever received.
