“Easirent-Dublin”

We booked our car reservation about 2 weeks before our arrival to Dublin to ensure we would have an autimatic car.However, when we arrived at their office at around 10am ,our ordered car was not available.The reason was something happened to the car we booked and it was being checked. So we were told that they will give us a ring at around 3PM so we can pick up the car at their office. We received a call at 1PM to tell us that a huge automatic car was available for pick up. Of course, I didn't want that as we ordered for just a medium size car. We received another call at 4PM to tell us that the car we ordered was finally there. I told them that I couldn't pick it up as it was late already and we were engaged at that time. We were told that if we won't pick it up, the car will be reallocated to someone else even if we have already fully paid. I was shocked as they couldn't even deliver the car to me. So I explained and they allowed me to pick it up the following day. When I took the car, we were still charged for the whole 4 days for both rent and insurance even if we lost a day of rent due to their own circumstances. Also, I was told that to compensate me, I don't have to refill the gas upon returning the car. However, we noted the tank was only half-filled (about 20€ of gas) so I ended up refilling and returning the car with same level of gas. It was a ripped off. I think in Expedia they are shown as the cheapest but in reality they are not. They should improve their service quality and efficiency. I hope to read good reviews about them in the future.
