“Delivery service a joke, customer service not much better”

Staff in shop could not fault assistant was helpful in everyway possible, things went downhill on day of deliverly. I took a day off work so that I could be at home all day for the delivery, yet I get call saying that they had tried to deliver it but nobody was home so they have gone away and will not be delivering it, yet I am there to answer the phone,so I then phoned up customer service who basically said that the drivers had turned up and what did I want her to do about it. We should of learnt from our first ordeal with them when we purchased our bed from them when they turned up looked at our stairs and said mattress won't go up there and went away, so after a lot of phone calls and even going in the shop to cancel our order and get refund they re-delivered it 5 weeks later meaning we ended up sleeping on the floor as we had got rid of our old bed to make room for the new one, they got it up staright away, the second lot of delivery men that took it up the stairs said that the last delivery men probably couldn't be bothered to take it up as it was the last slot just wanted to get home. I think he was right.
I would avoid this shop like the plague and will never be purchasing anything else from them again. As I said everything fine in shop but just wait for the delivery of stuff it either turns up and they can't be bothered to get it in or they say they turned up but don't and don't expect customer services to help cause they are not bothered.
