Good Points
Great sound, comfortable to wear.

Bad Points
The cable cover started to fall to pieces after only a few months.

Also, the are very dependant on the earbud covers. If you lose these, and it is easy to do, you're in trouble.

General Comments
I found the Sony MDR-EX71 to be good, but fragile.
