This is the worst company in the UK, probably the world. It is about time the government reassigned its rights.
Stand by the London Midland kiosk (near platform 8) at Euston station one evening to see examples of how not to do customer service. I don't think a normal human being could possibly be as unhelpful, obnoxious and useless as a London Midland employee, so can only assume they receive special training in how to be difficult.
If London Midland screw up and even if you have all the evidence in the world, they ask you to fill in forms to seek a refund instead of resolving the problem. I personally think this is deliberate, as they know that most normal human beings cannot be bothered with all the hassle, such that London Midland continue to keep the money and thus get paid for providing **** service.
