Moved my car insurance policy to Hastings in early March avoiding to be charged a hefty renewal by Admiral by one day. I was thinking I managed to save a few hundred but then the reality emerged. First it was some calls from 0800 and then a text and email warning me about extra charges, about a month after the agreement and payment for the 12 month policy.
Long story short, this is May the 16th, after several unnerving phone calls and wasted about 3 hours on calls in total and at least five emails, they are still to correct the mistake.
And by the way the extra charge includes a 25 GBP admin fee! Where should I go for the many unsettling hours wasted on dealing with a simple car insurance policy renewal with no claims and no changes ? (car address etc all same no complication).
I can't even imagine how they are like when it comes to claiming anything. Never again.
