“Terrible service!! I advise to never use late rooms!”

I used late rooms to book an apartment in Sheffield for a weekend with my bridesmaids to pick there dresses!
In january I booked an apartment for the 6 of us for April 2nd 2016.
In March I received a phone call from the apartment... Not late rooms.... To inform me that the apartment was no longer available. I immediately rang late rooms and they said they do not deal with people who own those apartments any more due to them not paying there subscription fee!
As you can imagine I was furious that my accommodation no longer existed. Late rooms then agreed to find me similar accommodation. They did. We agreed a price of £204 for the 6 0f U.S. B&b in the jury's inn in Sheffield for 1 night. They took my card details and charged my card. 10 minutes later they phoned and said there system wasn't up to date and they new price was a further £48.40... Which they had already took off my card!!!! I was furious!
Late rooms eventually agreed to honour the original price after listening to the recorded phone calls but then informed me I would need the jury's inn reciept to receive my £48,40 back! They had me over a barrel!
I then proved my reciept as soon as I arrived home in an email then they said it would take a further 7-14 days to process the money back to me!
The customer service is shocking. This has took a lot of my time and many phone calls and emails to sort this problem. They have offered me no compensation for my time and I feel like a very undervalued customer.

I advise anyone NEVER to use late rooms
