I booked my apartment through holiday lettings 6 months in advance to get just the right place. Them a month before travel the owner contacted me asking for more money. Not a little A LOT MORE. So she said if you will not pay l will cancel your booking. I phoned Holiday Lettings and was assured this couldnt happen and they would contact the owner but not to worry or book anywhere else. After no call back after 2 weeks l rang again as getting panicky. No record was made of my call, no contact had been made with the owner. So another 5 days later l got NO Call, but an email saying they have cancelled my booking and my refund will take up to 5 days. Great with just weeks till my flight l have no where to stay. I have dissabled needs so cant book just anywhere so left high and dry.
