Ulla Popken seems determined to drive me away -- and has succeeded. Customer service is miserable. I tried for four weeks to order two items. Ordering by website froze up when it was time to scroll down and choose my state, and the process could not continue beyond that point despite repeated attempts on different days. Ordering by phone was impossible because the 800 number was always busy, again with repeated attempts. I e-mailed customer service with this problem and was met with a demand for details about my operating system and browser, even though I have ordered from numerous websites with never any trouble of this sort. I tried customer service again and received the same response. Both customer service agents offered to take my order personally, and gave me their direct lines, but both lines are answered with voice mail. I left a message with the first rep and she never called me back.
I bought one tunic from Ulla Popken a few years ago and it was good quality, delivered on time. What a disappointment to have this awful experience. Even though the two items I wish to buy are exactly what I want, I am giving up, throwing the Ulla catalog away, and searching for similar items from some more reliable source.
