“Worst courier service ever! Completely incompetent and...”

We are a small business in Romania, importing goods from several European countries and selling them in all Balkan countries.

We used DPD to collect a small parcel in the Netherlands for delivery to us in Romania.
It took 2 weeks to pick up the parcel, the driver reporting several times that the parcel was not ready. In fact the parcel was ready from day 1 and nobody from DPD ever showed up untill 10 days later and after several phone-calls.

When it finally arrived in Romania we used DPD Romania to deliver the parcel to a customer in Belgrade, Serbia. (this was 3 weeks ago). We were told it would take 3-4 days depending on customs clearance.

After 10 days of sending the parcel we saw on the tracking info that the parcel was in Zagreb and subsequently in Vienna, labeled as > unknown recipient, return to sender<
When we enquired with DPD and asked them where the original presented documents were (with full address, postal code, customs declaration etc) we were told that they were lost somewhere.
The parcel came back to us, new docs were made up and DPD promissed to get it delivered with the utmost urgency. We are now 10 days later and the parcel is again stalled in Zagreb and DPD cannot tell us why and when it will be delivered.

My advice : pay more for another courier service and do not ever use DPD!

Needless to say that this cstomer is blaming us and does not want to do business anymore with us. Thanks DPD!
