3 and a half week wait for an appointment only for the for the fitter to turn up with the wrong glass. I know this seems to be standard practice in the screen replacement industry these days! As consumers the only leverage we have is to avoid insurers that lock their customers into using these clowns.
There is no excuse for a 3 week delay. This is not a 3rd world country!!
And since great care was taken at the time of booking to ensure that the car was specified correctly, there is no excuse for turning up with the wrong glass!!
If is was financially prudent to change my insurer today, I'd be doing it right now. I still may, and just write off the 6 remaining months on this year's policy!!!
