We had used Molly Maids staff (£20 per hour per staff) for many months in our home, and on the whole we had been satisfied with the performance of the Molly Maids staff. Unfortunately an incident in our home where a valuable piece of sculpture was smashed has changed our view completely. Whilst we did not wish to apportion blame to the girls themselves as accidents will happen, the Molly Maid Franchise Owner for (shall we just say openly "in Northumberland"?) our area, refused point blank to discuss the matter with us, refused to provide their insurance details, and in fact ignored our letters completely. Frustrated we then wrote to Head Office, and again did not receive the courtesy of a reply. Because of this failure of overall management and disrespect to us, (their clients), we have decided to dispense with the services of Molly Maids.
