Good Points
good tasting water, no maintenance

General Comments
We installed a lifesource softener in our home about a year ago after a salesman came by in our neighborhood. I mainly bought it to replace our bottled water usage and in that respect it has been great. Reading some of the other reviews about the noise, I haven't had any trouble with it. Ours is located in the garage and our bedroom is right above it and I have never heard anything backwashing.
