“Appalling customer service”

I ordered an item which took the company more than 5 days to dispatch. I was told it would arrive on the 5th April. On the 8th I went to phone them to find out where it was only to find out that you get charged 13p a minute plus a charge from your own service provider. I did not ring but emailed instead and got a standard message back. I refuse to ring this company to be charged for something which is their fault. Luckily I've paid by Paypal so will be claiming my refund via that.

I think it is a cheek for any company to charge for chasing an order, after all it is their fault and they are responsible. Also, no wonder their service is so slow, they are probably hoping you will ring their premium number to make them more money. There was no indication to how many minutes the call might last either.

I think this practice should be made illegal. I will never use this company again for this reason. I would never recommend them, in fact, I will recommend that people do not use them until they amend their shoddy practice.
