“WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER”

Before I booked a quote I looked on here at some of the reviews and to be honest I tihiught that whilst there were some bad ones I would go ahead nonetheless and set up a visit. The first hurdle being that both me and my husband needed to be present so we could make a joint decision there and then. I explained that No1 there is no way we would make a decision there and then as wanted to compare quotes and No2 my husbands job means he is home all strange hours so they refused to come out which I was fine with . I then had a phone call that same evening to say they had referred to a manager and it was ok to come and see just me. I explained again that I wanted a quote for comparison reasons and would NOT be making a decision there and there . So comes the day (today) that the sales guy turned up . He kindly asked me what I was looking for and talked to me about the different styles and benefits that Carrington offer. So far so good ..... Then when I asked him if I would get a verbal quote today he replied 'yes' followed by and I expect a decision today too. I explained again that I would not be making a decision to to which he quite abruptly replied 'I'm not going to get paid now' . At this point he became quite rude and I felt nervous so I asked him to leave . I immediately rang the head office and spoke to a senior person. He allowed me the opportunity to explain what had happened and profoundly apologised . Despite the experience I had had I still advised that I wanted a quotation from Carrington and he himself is coming to see me next week. I could have quite easily have given them a terrible rating but given the enthusiasm that went into the recovery on the phone, I am prepared to give them a 2nd chance and see where we go from here. Hence why at this point I have rated as Average but hope to turn that to good or fantastic.
