“VERY BAD COMPANY!”

Rented through Firefly, traveling to Denver CO. Got there, was informed that there would be a hold on my credit card for twice the quoted amount, told us that the additional hold would be freed 24 hours after car was returned. Something we should have been made aware of before arriving at the counter to pick up the car for the week. The guy at the counter was condescending and arrogant. A week after returning home, there was an additional $42 taken out of my account, called a "platepass" fee or some such. Something else that was never mentioned. Apparently it was a "courtesy" to allow us to pass through tolls, of which we never encountered the entire week we had the car. Just a racket, and no way to even get ahold of anyone to discuss this fee, why it was taken without warning, when we didn't even need it. I would never use this company again, and I would strongly advise others to avoid them entirely. Go somewhere else for your business.
