“Get worse than you pay for”

Expedia touted $8 per day no limitations. What they failed to tell you was that for 7 days you only get 35 free miles. By the time we upgraded to unlimited miles it was the same cost as the SFO on premise car rental companies. Since we had waited ages for a shuttle and were now thirty minutes from the airport we decided to go ahead. Big mistake. The car was a used Hertz rental. The keyless start failed to work 80% of the time. The car handled like a 40 foot boat wallowing from side to side. Alignment was definitely off and mixed tires front and back. The car was dirty inside. We called to exchange the car and got put on hold forever. Pathetic would be too kind a word for this rental company. Avoid at all costs!!!
