“Definitely not a hassle free experience for the customer”

I booked my car in for a full service and MOT. I was told that my car would be returned to me between 4.00pm and 6.00pm the same day following collection at 8.20am.
As it turned out my car was eventually returned around 1.00pm the next day. Nobody from servicing stop had the courtesy to ring me to let me know that I wouldn't get my car back until the following day. They didn't care for the inconvenience they caused my family that evening or the fact that I had to take a taxi to work the following morning.
I sent a letter of complaint to their customer service department which they totally ignored. Their contract states that they will send you an electronic invoice within 2 to 3 days of the work being completed. Again this did not happen automatically and I had to ring them in order to get the invoice for the work that had been done.
This experience was far from their recorded telephone message which says they provide you the customer with a hassle free experience whilst you are waiting several minutes for someone to answer your call.
All in all very poor customer service and communication.
