Little Chef is absolutely appalling! I took my son as a treat for doing so well in his first week at secondary school. It took 30 minutes for the starters to arrive and they were very disappointing. I had about 5 prawns and the core of an iceberg masquerading as a prawn cocktail. My son had the chicken wings that tasted like fish!!!! We then waited a further 30mins for the main course. I had ordered a rib eye steak (medium) with jacket potato and my son also ordered a rib eye with onion rings and a bread roll-as he does not like chips. We got 2 wizened pieces of leather complete with chips!!!! At this point, my appetite completely gone, I refused the meal and paid for what we had already had. I could not believe that 'Little Chef' has the audacity to charge such inflated prices for such utter rubbish!!!!! In addition the staff were inattentive and although it was busy there were certainly plenty of waitering staff, although only 1 chef and I felt like getting up to help him as he clearly couldn't cope!!As a child I loved going to 'Little Chef'and even a few years ago we would use 'Little Chef' when going on a long journey. It would take a lot of persuading to get me near one again!!!!!!!!!!!! I would actually give this restaurant 0 out of 5- not even worth a 1 as far as I am concerned.
