“Garmin customer support, should say non support, ”

From previous reviews I see I am not alone in trying to update maps.
I have been trying to update my Garmin Nuvi 2792 since the 23rd February, it now being 19th March , I a, getting a bit frustrated.
Tried 23 rd Feb, came up unable to update maps, it then proceeded to download map updates to somewhere on my computer to the tune of 390 times, and used up my monthly allowance, I had to but 1 gb to email customer service, what a joke they are.After all the suggestion they made, I partially solved it by putting in a new microcard, it managed to download software, then accepted the new card, started download, which told me it would take 3 hours, left it on overnight, to find that NOTHING had happened. Garmin told me to turn of my antivirus, oh sure I,m going to do that arent I for 8 or 9 hours so I am now stuck with a gps I cant update, and a customer service, that is worse than SKY,s, which as you all know is negligible, I paid for updates, I have had to buy more monthly GB allowance,for which I get , NOTHING.
Guess which GPS I am going for at Xmas
