“I do not happen to have bad credit but needed to open...”

written by on 02/03/2016

I do not happen to have bad credit but needed to open a business bank account ASAP as I needed to receive payment from a client in the US for my newly established company, I did not have all of the documentation required by Barclay's to hand so I thought this would be a good stop gap measure.

Opening the account was straight forward enough, however I asked them to send me details for international payments via email it never came and was given these details over the phone, the person giving me these details made an error so my payment was sent back.

The payment was successfully made a second time, and then I received an text saying contact Cash Plus immediately otherwise my payment will be returned.

I contact them and they ask for remittance advice which I send over right away.

I have now been advised that my documentation is with the right team and they are checking it, what is there to check its all there in black and white? My monies should have been released right away.

Anyhow I am giving them 48 hours to release my money which I will transfer all of it to an account that I have with a high street bank and close cash plus account down.

If they do not I will report them to the FCA, get my lawyer involved and have a debt collector go down to their offices at London Wall to collect my money with interest and the fees incurred for using a debt collection agency added on top.

I strongly advise anybody with issue to report cash plus to the FCA and they will soon have to shape up or lose their FCA licence.
