“My new kitchen”

My previous kitchen was outdated, time consuming and cluttered. We are in our eighties and I just wanted a streamlined, uncluttered modern kitchen as I really enjoy cooking. The gas hob was replaced by an induction hob (the useful ability to time a burner), the new Corian cream worktop smoothly incorporates the Schock one and half cream sinks, the glass splash back is easy to clean. (No more discoloured grouting.) The Planar cream cupboards and drawers close magnetically and quietly. The clutter is non existent - for example I have an integrated water filter tap - no more plastic dispenser. Small electrical appliances fit into a deep drawer. All large electrical ones are integrated which creates a neat appearance.
The workforce was courteous and efficient. The old kitchen and rubble were removed quickly.
From beginning to end the kitchen needed 6 weeks to be fully installed. It was not usable for about four days but this we expected.
Working with the designer was easy and communication always possible. The kitchen was complete about two months ago and I am delighted with the transformation and ease of cleaning. I have the kitchen I wanted.
