Once upon a time Marks and Spencer represented the high ground of high quality service, with a returns policy bar none. How times change! Last week I bought a denim style women's shirt, really liked the style, ok price (£25) seemed good value. How wrong I was. Wore it to work, really uncomfortable, spent the day scratching my arms. Tried wearing again, again itched and scratched all day. I took it back and explained this issue to be met with an air of suspicion. The item would be returned to the 'quality control lab' for checking and 'maybe' I would get a refund if they found a fault.
The eventual response was that I should consult a dermatologist - so it's my fault!
Basically the customer service at Marks and Spencer is less than bad, it's insulting. I resent being blamed for finding a fault with their poor quality goods.
