Good Points
Coffee - expresso and machiato - the best consistently of any
Bad Points
Where music other than classical is creeping in; I suspect to encourage more Starbuckers over. It starts to loose the 'feel' of classic Cafe Nero.
General Comments
Cafe Nero - The expert here! From South Ken opening onto the roll out, I have used many of the branches regulary since I travel to all parts of Central and south London to work. They are such a success; in terms of good coffee - I am an expresso or machiato drinker, so refer to 'pure' coffee drink types; in terms of atmosphere - the peaceful playing of classical or opera in busy business areas is still pretty unique; and most certainly in terms of staff. They are almost always great, working hard and professionally and always polite. The use of Italians in many places gives a great connection to the ethos of the firm. They make great coffee too!
I use independants too, but CN is the best example of larger chain operations.
