A flexible, well structured Acupressure course, easy to follow and suitable for anyone, from entry to intermediate level; wishing to further developed a deeper theoretical approach to Acupressure and whom may be wishing to quantify their knowledge.
This course would greatly benefit from a practical component or clinical aspect to the course to further enhance, the employability aspect of the individual at least a 4 weekend practical training or one week intensive. The course could also benefit from video lectures covering, Acupressure massage aspects, trigger points, Shu points, power points, the meridian network and how to correctly stimulate the Qi at a point, so that the patient feels the "arrival of Qi" to the point.
Overall, the course covers in great detail the basis of TCM theory, contraindications, power points, the benefits of stimulating Shu points and specific treatments for various conditions, such as back problems, headaches, etc.
I would have liked to know in advanced that there was no clinical aspect to the course, other than that, I am satisfied with the course content.
